Health Class (CRR)

In healthy class we are talking about Different types of carbohydrates, protein, fats, and minerals. Simple   Carbohydrates are sugars that are quickly digested and provide a boost of energy for the body. Complex Carbohydrates provide the body with long term energy, the help digest starch such as rice, beans, and potatoes. Proteins are made from many amino acids connected together in different arrangements, proteins provide the body need to grow and repair its self. Fat is energy source for the body, more than carbs and proteins it helps protect and cushion vital organs as well as joints. Unsaturated fats contain fatty acids that are missing hydrogen atoms, at room temperature they seem to be in a liquid form and less harmful to the circulatory system than saturated fats. Micro nutrient also known as minerals that are inorganic and that are required by your body in order to develop and grow properly. Some important minerals are calcium, Iron, Potassium and magnesium. This is what i learned. A very interesting subject that i really enjoyed. I learned a lot about my body and about what we intake on the daily basis and what it turns to in our body.
